What changed, what was cleaned up, and what we reviewed.

Routine clean up, because link rot is real.

Reviewed and verified external links across the directory.
Removed some inactive organizations, unavailable businesses, and outdated listings.
Corrected listings that pointed to the wrong organization or location. (Sorry, Omaha, NE but we're the real River City.)
Updated Tower Theatre to its current Angelika Film Center page.
Improved Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, and website button labels so visitors know where links go.
Changed the footer language from “links verified” to “last reviewed.”
Updated the contact note to invite corrections and dead-link reports.
Improved keyboard navigation, modal behavior, search announcements, mobile sizing, and reduced-motion support.
Added basic search and social metadata, a plain-language privacy notice, a footer correction link, and clearer social-platform labels.
Simplified the correction flow after trying per-listing links; one footer link is cleaner and does the job.
Clarified ownership, alcohol-free, endorsement, event-cadence, and visit-before-verifying language.
Made the “Alcohol-Free Things to Do” wording consistent in the directory, navigation, and listing form.

Initial build-out and polish.

Added searchable directory sections for local LGBTQ+ resources, businesses, groups, events, sober-friendly spaces, and services.
Added the “Submit a Listing” form. :)
New layout and CSS.
Added mobile navigation and back-to-top behavior.
Expanded listings with more Sacramento-specific descriptions and local notes.
